did i ever tell you guys the story about abilene not getting nbc? because well...it doesnt. and it hasnt for the past 8 months or so. something about a conflict with cox, the cable provider, and nbc or something. so to make up for it, cox added the gospel music channel to the basic cable line up (FINALLY), and made channel 5, which was originally nbc, periodically change from different satellite channels. at first it was hbo family, then starz family, then the nicktoons channel..for WAY too long. and of course, right after i move away....abilene completely redeems itself. channel 5 became The-N. yes, that's right. the very channel that airs the best show in the world. degrassi. so now all i can do is hope that abilene accepts the show with open arms. and if it does, and the show becomes a town favorite, and everyone watches it and then discusses it the next day....well...i might be moving back. and i bet i'd be bringing jessie with me. and probably beth too.
